Major Exploration Faire

Looking for a major? Let the experts help you at the Major Exploration Faire

Who should come?

  • Undecided students
  • Students who intend to transfer to UCB
  • Students who want to change their majors
  • Students looking for a minor or a second major
  • Students curious about how majors relate to careers

Why should you attend the Major Exploration Faire?

  • To take advantage of the opportunity to have immediate access to representatives from over 60 majors.
  • To get accurate and current information on which majors lead to which careers and what options you have - you may be surprised.
  • To learn how to assess your interests and abilities and your strengths and weaknesses in order to choose the best major and career for you.
  • To get info that will help clarify your academic objectives and help you to choose a major
  • To obtain information to help you prepare for a major prior to transferring to UCB
  • To find out if community college courses will fulfill UCB's major pre-requisites

Who will be there?

  • College, Major, Faculty and Career Advisers, College Evaluators
  • Students who have declared a major and Alumni

When/Where?

Thursday October 3rd
Stop by between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
MLK Jr. Student Union/Pauley Ballroom

Refreshments and prizes will be given out!
