Asian Studies

The Asian Studies major provides groundwork in an Asian language, a familiarity with the theories and methods of one particular discipline, and a broad range of interdisciplinary course work focused on either China or Japan. The major offers a rigorous but flexible interdisciplinary program designed to offer students more access to course offerings in the Asian field across the campus than is possible in departmental major requirement structures.
